The roads in Turkmenistan are very variable, sometimes they are super smooth pristine new highway,

Sometimes they have these enormous 6 inch high tarmac ridges that come out of no where and tramline the car or fling you into the air if you hit them anyway but straight which can for sure wake you up.

Sometimes they have wheel eating 6 inch deep and two feet wide random big holes in an otherwise perfect 70kph highway

Some of the side roads are horrendous and some of the bridges even more so as this picture shows, the new steel bit has bar on it which are too low for Nelson, and it’s a 100k diversion around it on the road, so buttocks clenched and go…

Some of the side roads are horrendous and some of the bridges even more so I came across a bridge which was nearly collapsed, it had been reinforced with steel plate but the new steel bit has bar on it which are too low for Nelson, and it’s a 100k diversion around it on the road, so buttocks clenched and hope it does not collapse off I went, I was too scared to think about filming it which I regret it would have made a good post !
